Deng will take off as long as he possibly can
he aint risking coming back early
he's in a contract year and the team is going nowhere
he'll take off the rest of the year if he can.

Its in the bulls best interest for him not to play also, in all honesty.
If he's leaving, might as well get a good draft pick.

An injured Deng does us no good going into the future. Whether it is a recurring issue that arises from rushing back too quickly or some freak accident where he tears his ACL, if it effects his future ability to perform at a high level it hurts us.
And of course its in his best interest.
But neither side should want to see him rushed back. Same goes for Gordon.
