I'm just not seein' it. This sounds like some unfounded garbage from Mejia. I would call up the Suns and say:
"What does it take to get Amare without us trading Yi or Bogut?"
If they bite, I do nearly any trade that works. If not, then it's just not meant to be.

If we were to acquire someone like Amare.. how would that work with both Yi and Bogut on the team? Seems as if we would have to trade either Yi or Bogut with someone for it to work. Other than that we risk stifling the development of Yi or Bogut with Amare on this team. So doesn't seem realistic if we are intent on keeping Yi, Bogut, and Amare.

eah, I saw that this morning.
I think it's highly unlikely any package of Redd/Villanueva could get Amare. We would need to be willing to part with Yi or Bogut for Amare.
MAYBE it would work for Redd/CV for Marion. Maybe.
Maybe it's just me, but I would have no problem parting with Yi for Amare.
Amare/Bogut frontline would dominate the east. Absolutely dominate. Amare could play PF no problem. He'd probably be better off than playing center.
